The negative reviews clearly agree this is a beginners book, and so does the title imply, "Understanding Exposure", so that should not surprise you, especially if you are a proficient photog. This is truly a 5 star book, easy to read and understand concepts, and is perfect for what it is. . a beginner read. It is odd though. . I still find myself flipping back through the pages for a quick review on some topics of exposure I don't necessarily use every day. . maybe I am just retarded. . hahaha. This book covers the basics for general lighting techniques so if you want to understand more specific lighting applications. . such as Macro lighting, Portraiture, etc. . Look for those subjects by specific title up in the Amazon search or Google and vualla! Michael.
