There's plenty of useful information in here, but there are no photos and it's very lean on illustrations Just ok.... I'd expect plenty of both in a book like this2009-03-10 Rating 3.

I had a cluttered house and NO IDEA where to start - this book really helped me by breaking everything down into week by week lists Very helpeful for the hopelessly helpless. The only thing I would add though is that it took me three times as long to implement all the ideas2009-02-28 Rating 5. As in, instead of taking like 8 weeks it took me 24 weeks to get my house under control. It might take less time if you start with a neater house though!.

A thoughtful approach to the whys of remodeling and changing your space to suit yourself Thoughtful approach. Most books on decoration and home renovation don't cover the emotional impact these activities can have on you, it's an interesting discussion worth having and a different approach toward designing spaces for yourself than I've seen elsewhere2009-02-20 Rating 4.

Simply this is a good book, and a wonderful place to start the process of making one's living environment a more agreeable place This book will help you. Great value!.

It's a book that takes the "big picture" into account2009-02-07 Rating 5.

It try's to incorporate mental appeal and how room design can affect a person's attitude.

It provides real world "tug of war" perspectives that allow you to de-clutter your mind, and subsequently your apartment.

I didn't find the book "NYC Centric" at all.

The title of the book is "APARTMENT therapy", not "HOME therapy", not "ROOM therapy", etc. It simply helps one realize a better flow and includes an 8 week action plan for achieving results.

I would recommend giving this book to people starting out in a new place who are interested in self-improvement.

I have been struggling with my 350 sq Life changing. ft2008-09-23 Rating 5. studio and this book has been an incredible help. It gives you a plan to follow which helps you maintain your focus and provide some pacing. Trying to come up with a plan on my own had me frazzled since I was trying to do a million things at once and actually accomplishing very little.

It also provides a lot of valuable tips on how make decisions and behind the scenes tips on how to organize cords, create wall displays and set up lighting.

So, buy it already.
