I was put off initially by the authors humor (tack sharp?) - but got past that looking for tips on exposure - flash photography, etc. Disappointed Overall - Had Great Expectations!. and while I saw a few of these scattered in and amongst the pages - it just was not enough! I have many years of film and digital photography experience - so perhaps this book is more designed for the beginning photographer that does not understand tripods and their use among other basic tips. . Scott Kelby explains how to create more professional-looking photos, and explains this in plain english, with a good dose of humor thrown in. I carry this book with me whenever I carry my camera. I consider this an excellent non-technical book with many tips and guidelines for improving your photography. The Digital Photography Book. This is nothing more than magazine quality paper stock at best. I suggest you find another publisher. Very disappointing.
