Have interest in the solar industry and happy for this book that details installation of the various PV systems Solar Book. 2009-03-22 Rating 4

Well, I did not read the whole book yet but so far there's nothing new there for me Not for engineers. I do recommend the book for people with no technical background2009-03-19 Rating 3. Those of us that have good background in physics and electricity will not benefit much.

This is the complete guide to solar, written by the people who train the professionals The most comprehensive resource book for information on Solar. Great resource2009-02-27 Rating 5.

I have been doing quite a lot of research on the subject as of recently PV Reviews. There have been some new develoments as it relates to green tax credits and the cost of Photovoltaic systems2009-02-26 Rating 3. The book does a good job of laying out the basics for PV systems and designs. It is worth the money but if you would like a quick glance. Check out this site.

[. . ].

The most convoluted part of installing the pv's are choosing the correct mounting brackets and making it all work properly Good and worth it. Some of the electrical guidance was confusing2009-02-06 Rating 4. It's more comprehensive then other books out there.

It would be great if there were more charts in the book and fewer charts in the back of the book. Researching this subject on the Internet is not only time consuming, but you have to determine who is being truthful, and who is only claiming they have the best. Without this book, my head would still be spinning attempting to determine who is being honest. The pictures were awesome and so was most of the bonus material, such as the glossary, at book's back. I recommend this book to anyone wanting to go green and solar.
